PRESSURE REGULATOR

COMING SOON

PARAGRAPH1

H-PIPE

AS THE PIPES COME OFF THE HEADERS, THEY RUN PARALLEL DOWN THE LENGTH OF THE CAR WITH A SINGLE CROSS PIPE.
THE CROSS PIPE WILL HELP TO BALANCE ANY UNEVEN PRESSURES CREATED IN THE EXHAUST BY ALLOWING EXCESS PRESSURE TO BLEED INTO THE ALTERNATE PIPE.
THIS HELPS TO INCREASE FLOW AND POWER.
THIS PIPE SET UP IS MOST EFFECTIVE THE CLOSER THE CROSS PIPE IS TO THE COLLECTOR ON EACH HEADER.
THE EXHAUST NOTES FROM A H-PIPE WILL BE MORE OF A LOW GRUMBLE OR RUMBLE, AND POWER WILL BE EQUIVALENT TO AN X-PIPE

X-PIPE

AS THE PIPES COME OFF THE HEADERS, THEY INTERSECT IN A "X" PATTERN.  THE ANGLE OF THIS INTERSECTION AND SIDE OF THE OPENING WILL BE THE TUNABLE FACTORS OF THIS DESIGN.
THE PIPE INTERSECTION CROSS AREA WILL HELP TO BALANCE ANY UNEVEN PRESSURES CREATED IN THE EXHAUST BY ALLOWING EXCESS PRESSURE TO BLEED INTO THE ALTERNATE PIPE.
THIS HELPS TO INCREASE FLOW AND POWER.
THIS PIPE SET UP IS MOST EFFECTIVE THE CLOSER THE INTERSECTION IS TO THE COLLECTOR ON EACH HEADER.
THE EXHAUST NOTES FROM A X-PIPE WILL BE MORE OF A RASPY AND AGGRESSIVE PITCH, AND POWER WILL BE EQUIVALENT TO AN H-PIPE

Y-PIPE

AS THE PIPES COME OFF THE HEADERS, THEY INTERSECT AND MERGE INTO A SINGLE LARGER EXHAUST PIPE.
THE BENEFITS TO THIS EXHAUST ARE THE CHEAPER COST, AND THE BEST LOW END TORQUE POTENTIAL.
AS EXHAUST GASSES MERGE AND PASS OVER A WELL DESIGNED COLLECTOR, THEY WILL PRODUCE A SCAVENGING EFFECT ON THE OTHER PIPES ENTERING THE COLLECTOR.
IN A Y-PIPE SET UP YOU WILL HAVE ONE ADDITIONAL COLLECTOR WHERE YOU CAN INCREASE EXHAUST SCAVENGING AND INCREASE POWER.
THIS PIPE SET UP IS MOST EFFECTIVE THE CLOSER THE Y-COLLECTOR IS TO THE MANIFOLD COLLECTOR ON EACH HEADER.
THE EXHAUST NOTES FROM A Y-PIPE WILL BE MORE OF A DEEP AND SOLID PITCH, AND POWER POTENTIAL IS THE HIGHEST WITH THIS EXHAUST, BUT POSSIBILITY FOR RESTRICTIONS IS MUCH HIGHER IF NOT DESIGNED CORRECTLY.
